Survivors are: her husband, Lonnie,I Larson; mother, May L. May of Kearney; sons, Lonnie, II and Lawrence Giffin, both of Kearney; daughters, Terri Larkowski and her husband, Kevin, of Omaha, Tami Thornton and her husband, DeWaynn, of Broken Bow and Kim Hipp and her husband, Robert, of North Platte; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Maury May and his wife, Jeanne, of Kearney.
She grew up in Kearney and received her education at Kearney Public Schools. She worked as an office clerk for the Nebraska Department of Roads for 23 years before retiring in 2008.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kearney. Her hobbies included scuba diving, riding motorcycles and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandson, Stephen Larkowski; and infant sister, Lois.
