Mrs. Margaret Cummings Prosser, 58, of Wrens died Thursday, Dec. 27, in an Augusta hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 29, from Sisters Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Montgomery officiating. Burial was in Brownwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Howard Robinson, Floyd Prosser, Jesse Prosser, Charlie Prosser, Chuck Richardson, Billy Scruggs, Robbie Robinson and Landers Robinson.
A native of Washington County, she was the daughter of Bill and Pauline Tooke Cummings. Mrs. Prosser was the owner of Prosser Trucking Company and a member of Cooperville Baptist Church. She was the widow of Willis Prosser.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Adams of Wrens and Louise Paulk of Anbrose; a brother, W.E. Cummings of Milledgeville; four sisters, Stella Robinson and Pauline Miller, both of Sandersville, Wynell Davis of Tennille and Hattie Ivey of Lackland, Fla.; two grandchildren.
Mayo-Lord Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
