Samuel Rupert was a farmer living in Springfield Twp Mahoning County. His family bible ended up somehow in an auction and purchased by a lady from Enon Valley. She submitted the data to the Mahoning Co Library for reference.
His only susviving child, Sevilla Rupert married Eli Sipe in 1879 and sadly she died related to childbirth in 1880.
Notes Sept 27, 2010 - per an old map 1899 of Springfield Twp it shows Samuel Rupert owning land/house - 56 acres spanning both side of Rt 165 just south of intersection of Beard Road. Believe now this house is same one sitting empty for some time 2002? and now owned by mining company. Likely it will be torn down within near future. circa 1880? home.
Oct 2016 house torn down.
Nearby land/home/farm is owned by Christian Hammer and still a picturesque estate.
