DEATH OF HER SISTER
Mrs. Chas. Miller, 71, sister of Mrs. E. C. Hanson of Spirit Lake, died Tuesday morning after a illness of several years. She was at Holy Family where she has been for the past two years.
Minnie Bessie McDonough was born April 23, 1875, near Fort Dodge. On Feb. 20, 1899, she married Charles Miller at Callender and in 1918 they moved to Estherville.
She was a member of Royal Neighbors and the Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Clyde of Ringsted, and Floyd of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Hatland and Mrs. Harold Ross of Estherville; four brothers, Charles McDonough, Salem, Ore., Hugh McDonough, Clinton, Okla., Floyd McDonough, Lakefield, Minn., and Arthur McDonough, of Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. E. C. Hanson of Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Melvin Kelly of Farnhamville, Ia., and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at Sternborg's Funeral Chapel and at 2 o'clock at the Church of Christ in Estherville. Rev. Fred D. Sawyer officiated and burial was made in the East Side Cemetery in Estherville.
