Mr. Johnston was born October 15, 1911 to the union of Enoch M. & Hattie Jackson Mouser. She and her husband: Mr. Floyd G. Johnston were united in marriage on June 2, 1934. Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Grayson United Methodist Church, where she served in various capacities, and even designed the parsonage of the church, an accomplishment that she was very proud of. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the Caldwell Parish School system for 34 years. Mrs. Johnston was very active, not only in church activities, but also in family and civic activities. She loved flowers and gardening, and music. She was well respected and loved by her church, her family, and her community. She will be greatly missed.
Left to mourn her passing are: her husband: Mr. Floyd G. Johnston, of Grayson, La.; daughter and son-in-law Marjorie & Bob Clayton, Shreveport, La.; 2 grandsons Robert B. Raines, Jr. of Shreveport, and Gordon J. Raines, Thibodeaux; 5 great grandchildren and 1 brother: Rev. Roy Mouser, of Greenwood, La.
