Ida Emma Castle Cox 90 Olathe Kansas ,Previosly of Pleasanton Died Thursday April 27,1995 at Good Samaritan Care Center, Olathe. Ida was the daughter of Fredrick W. Castle and clara Coon Castle. Survivers are two daughters Florence DeMott , Sharon DeMott , 2 Sons Richard Cox, J.P. Cox, Proceding Her in Death Were Her parents , Her Husband Jarrott H. Cox Son Robert L. Cox Services 1:30P.M. Sunday,April 30 at Torneden Coffel Chaple, Pleasanton,Kansas . Burial ,Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton Ks. Visitation 7-8 Saturday, April 29 at the chapel . Contributions To Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital.
Ida Was a one of a Kind , Despite Haveing Polio She Raised 5 children on a Farm with No running water. She used a bench to scoot around on and Keep Her House very clean and Her Childern to. She also Helped out on the family income by Quilting, Canning, Makeing soap, Crouching,Writeing local news , many many outher ways. Never Did I here Her Complaine about Her being unable to walk. Thank You Mama for always being there .
Married 10/14/1933 ( Eloped ) Burlington ,Coffee county Kansas. This is where Ida's brother was living at the time.
