Of the 5 known children of this couple, Hanna was the second born and the only daughter. The immigration into the United States of Hans, Marion and their children, probably occurred around the same time as that of the Halverson's, say 1874. Hanna married Lars Halverson around 1853 in Norway. They had 7 known children. Hanna died 6 January 1914 in Mattoon, Shawano County and was buried on 11 January 1914 in Woodlawn Cemetery, next to her husband, who predeceased her in 1912. Cause of death was "chronic nephritis". She was 78 years, 2 months and 15 days of age at the time of her death.
