She united with Jenkin Chapel Christian Church, Augusta, Texas and attended Augusta public schools.
She married Mr. Pleasure Jackson. To this union two sons were born. Her husband and one son, O.B. Jackson preceded her in death. She later married George Lewis who also preceded her in death. No children were born to this second marriage.
She moved to Houston in 1940 and united with Garden Grove Christian Church.
She died at St. Joseph Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 1982.
She leaves to mourn; one son, Bozie Perry Jackson of Houston and thirteen grandchildren.
