"Fisk overcame the greatest handicap a person can, in my opinion; born nearly blind, he was an 'above average student' - learning his lessons simply by having our father tutor him after he got home from school. At 14, the doctors told our parents that he must be taken from school as he would be completely blind within two years.
His eyes actually became no worse, although glasses did not help him enough to give him anyway near normal vision.
Our 'Judd' was a wonderful wife to him - never letting him think that he could not do everything anyone else could do - and just a little bit better. He was a very successful business man and provided wonderfully well for his family. We all depended on him so much.
He was associated with the Atlas Supply Company for 25 years at Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. During this time, he was manager of the Oklahoma City branch as well as District Manager. The last four years of his life, he was associated with the Carson Machine & Supply Company of Oklahoma City.
He was an active member of the Linwood Methodist Church. He served as Chairman of the official board, music committee, Men's Brotherhood and Building Committee. He was interested in all phases of the Church program and was one of the outstanding leaders.
The cause of his death was heart failure with complications."
