Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elmina Easterling, 87, were held on Sunday, June 3, at 2:00 p.m. from the Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Earl Addison, Rev. Larry Yates, and Rev. John Carter officiating. Interment followed in the Beulah Cemetery in Smith County, with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Easterling was a resident of the Polkville community, a homemaker, and a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Lela Huff of Polkville, Mrs. Lola Mae Alford of Jackson, Mrs. Elvie McCallister of Ft. Smith, Ark., Mrs. Eula McGathen of Gulfport, and Mrs. Myrna Lee Gray of Jackson; 4 sons, Clifton and Homer Easterling, both of Polkville, Horace Easterling of Morton, and Ward Easterling of Austin, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Pearlie Adcox of Raleigh; 1 brother, Hines Jones of Morton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Nelson Burns, James Easterling, Alfred A. Norman, Melvin Bradshaw, Guy Bounds, and A. J. Smith
