In Hartford, John J. McGrath, of 335 w. Preston St., Hartford, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Hartford and resided there his entire life. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an Electrician for I.B. E.W. Local 35. He was a member of the Retired Club, Local 35 and the Southend Senior Citizens Club. He leaves his wife, Mary Barton McGrath, two sons; J. Barton McGrath of Rocky Hill, Leo T. McGrath of Newington, a daughter; Miss Judith McGrath of Hartford; eight grandchildren. Funeral will be held Saturday, 9:15, from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 96 Webster St., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 at St. Augustine Church. Private burial services will be held in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery. Calling hours, today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
