McIntire (ca 1835-1901), Amanda McIntire-Glover (1837-1907), Mary W. McIntire-Adams (1840-1920), Melvina McIntire-Wyatt (1844-1909), and Andrew L. McIntire (1850-1920).
About 1867 in Kentucky, Alvira married James W. Bailey (1834-1915), also born in Kentucky. James was a son of David Bailey (ca 1805-1835) and Gehaza Roe (1808-?).
James and Alvira settled into a life of farming in Kentucky until in the early 1880's they moved and settled in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas.
James and Alvira had 8 children, only 4 who reached adulthood. Their known children were: John Andrew Bailey (1868-1947), Walter Scott Bailey (1874-1949), William D.
