He married Zolar Beatrice Williams, a daughter of Willie Joseph Williams and Annie Augusta "Gustie" McAbee Williams on Sunday, October 1, 1933 in Morgan County, Alabama.
Mr. Standridge was the brother of Elsie Mae Clark, Ernest S. Standridge and Cletie Nelson.

MOULTON -- John Taylor Standridge, 74, of Route 2, Moulton, died Friday at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Union Grove Methodist Church in Lawrence County with the Rev. E.L. Harding and the Rev. Tom Ellis officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Brown Service Funeral Home of Decatur directing.
