Miss Louise Elliott, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Elliott of Spindale died monday at 2 PM at the hospital following an operation for appendicitis Saturday. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church here Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock, her pastor, Dr. M. A. Adams being in charge.
To those who knew Louise the thought of death or weakness in any way was far removed as she impressed one with strength of her character, physically and mentally, only thirteen years of age she had finished the eighth grade at school, standing high in her classes throughout her school days. Joyous and carefree she loved all manner of sport, yet she was sweet and gentle as shown by her tender devotion to those who weaker depended on her strength possessing qualities of fine womanhood she gave promise of a useful career it is sad that she should be cut down so young but the master in whom she had recently publicly professed faith doeth all things well and her Christian life just begun here will be made perfect above.
