Rev. Claude J. Goodwin, pastor or the Bennett Church of the Nazarene, 17 miles east of Norman, died Monday morning in Deaconess hospital.

He suffered a paralytic stroke Nov. 11, 1948, and a second one last Friday. For the past six months, he had lived at 1416 SW Binkley. He was 60 years old.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Goodwin of the home address; three sons, Leonard J., Pasadena, Calif.; Norman W., Bellflower, Calif., and Claude J. Jr., of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Vera E. Abbit, 2311 SW 22; Mrs. Ruth Lane, Stockton Calif., and Mrs. are Mullins, of the home and 11 grandchildren.. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. They are Rev. Lee Goodwin, Hydro; Debert Goodwin, Weatherford; Mrs. Alice Hart, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Vera Bridges, Wichita, Kan.

Services will be at 2 pm Thursday in Trinity Church of the Nazarene with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Capitol Hill Funeral Home will direct.
