"Grandma Mandy" was a kind, thoughtful and dear person. She was not a large woman and was quiet and soft-spoken. We have a lovely photo of her reading her bible.
As she aged, her eyesight began to fail and it was about this time, they began to implant the lenses for cataract surgery. Unfortunately, Mandy was blinded in one eye from this procedure and she wore a patch over one eye for the rest of her life.
