Woodward changed to Woodworth by the son's of Walter by his 1685 Will, many Woodworth accounts wrongly confuse father Benjamin as the one who fought in King Phillips War and died, wrong Ben, most likely the son of Walter Jr of Scituate, MA who stayed living there.

Descendants of Walter Woodworth of Scituate, Mass. Records by Woodworth, William Atwater, pub1898, pg 49 agrees with above wife, but year is 1723. they may have moved to Columbia, CT, listed in Church records 1741, as other Woodworth's did. no descendants are listed
