She was born April 24, 1916 in Norris, Illinois, the daughter of Harvey J. and M. Lola (Postin) Grigsby.
Her first husband, married before 1937, was Arthur H. Meins, the father of her two daughters: Karen (Lowe) and Ketra (Lingenfelter). Her second husband was Edward Alspaugh, married in 1945, he died in 1971; she then married Lionel Jack Atkins in 1974, he died in 1979.
She is survived by her daughter Ketra (Gene) Lingenfelter of Canton, brother Eugene (Betty) Grigsby of Canton, 8 grandchildren Jim Lowe, Phil (Kary) Lowe, Lori Collins, Pam Dowell, Steve Wheeler, Barb Wheeler, Rick (Miranda) Lingenfelter and Cindy (Mike) Lock.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Lowe and her sister Ollidean Phillips.
Burial will be in Foster Cemetery in rural Fairview.
