Arthur Newton was the son of George Albert Newton and Sonora "Nora" Ellen Sigler. His parents were originally born and raised in Crawford County, Indiana.
He was the brother of Elsie, Elva Edith, Russell B. and Ethel Elnora Newton.
He died when he was 16 years old from typhoid fever.
Buried September 6, 1912.
