She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Moultrie County, the daughter of Evart and Laura Earhart Brown. She married Robert M. Beaty June 29, 1947, and he passed away Dec. 11, 1995.
Mrs. Beaty is survived by one son, Kenneth (Ruth Anne) Beaty of Havana.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Irene Adcock; and two brothers, George Hardy and Harold Brown.
She worked at Caterpillar during WWII and met her husband on a blind date arranged by her husband's cousin and was married three months later.
Mrs. Beaty was a member of the Havana Woman's Club and The Mason District Hospital Auxiliary. She served as a Pink Lady at the Mason District Hospital for many years.
Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
