The body of PFC Andrew H. Brixey of Yonkers, Oklahoma, a casualty of World War II, will arrive in Wagoner on Saturday afternoon, August 6, 1949.
Memorial services and final reburial will be announced later by Hersman Funeral Home of Wagoner.

YONKERS SOLDIER BURIED IN GIDEON
Funeral services for PFC Andrew Brixey of Yonkers, who was killed in action in France on April 22, 1945 in World War II, were held Tuesday afternoon at Peggs.
Memorial services were conducted in the Freewill Baptist Church with burial in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Gideon, Oklahoma.
Military rites were conducted at the graveside by the VFW Post of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with burial under the direction of Hersman Funeral Home.
Members of the Hulbert American Legion Post served as pallbearers.
Brixey is survived by two sons; two brothers, Everett of Red Oak, Oklahoma and Ed of Hulbert; and one sister, Mrs. John Sulfridge of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
