Mrs. Alice R. Leidy, 91 Beverly Healthcare-Hillview, formerly of 736 Foot of Ten Road, Duncansville, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 4, 2000, at Hillview.
She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in bellefonte, the daughter of George and Hannah Gault Barnes. She married Paul S. Leidy July 24, 1926. He died in 1986.
Mrs. Leidy was a member of Hick's Memorial Methodist Church, Duncansville, PA.
She was a member of the Hollidaysburg Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son Irvin W. of Duncansville; two grandchildren, Roger S. and Karen I. in New Jersey; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1927.
Arrangements are by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
A memorial service held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan 22, 2000 at Hick's Memorial Methodist Church, 1211 Third Ave., Duncansville, by the Rev. Donald Haulman and the Rev. Michael Childs. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
