Mr. Leidy retired as a pipefitter from the Juniata shops of Penn Central in 1971, after 41 years service.
He was born Dec. 30, 1905, in Woodbury, the son of Irvin W. and Alice (Smithe)Leidy, and July 24, 1926, married Alice R. Barnes. Surviving are his wife, a son, Irvin W. of Duncansville RD 2, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother and sister; Russell S. of Curryville and Lydia Leonard of Altoona.
Mr. Leidy was a member of the Hick's Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville: Juniata Lodge, F&AM; Altoona Consistroy and Jaffa Shrine Temple.
Friends received afternoon and evening Sunday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, PA.
Services held Monday at the funeral home with Rev. John J. Dromazos. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
