Carrie Pauline "Polly" Patterson, 90, died in Hoffman, Oklahoma on Friday, May 8, 2009. Polly was born in Weches, Texas on July 26, 1918 to Rutherford and Vera (Lowell) Crim. She enjoyed gardening, art and painting.
Her husband, A. E. "Pat" Patterson preceded her in death on October 31, 2000. A son, James Darryl Patterson and one brother, Jimmy Crim also preceded her in death.
Polly is survived by three sons, A. E. "Pat" Patterson, II and wife Sharon of Richmond, Texas, Larry Patterson and wife Ginger of Bridge City, Texas; Rundy Patterson and wife Cathy of Hoffman, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Brian Patterson, Chris Patterson, Terri Porter, Kelly Young, and Carrie King, numerous great grandchildren, one brother, Silver Crim, and a sister Modene McHenry.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Weches Cemetery in Weches, Texas. Pastor Charles Wolfe will officiate. Arrantgements are under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
