Funeral services for Iris Modene McHenry, 85, of Caldwell are set for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August, 21, 2012, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Rev. Todd Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell. A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, also at the funeral home. Mrs. McHenry passed away on August 17, 2012 in College Station, Texas.
Iris was born August 24, 1926, to James Rutherford Crim and Vera Marbeth Lovell Crim in Weches, Texas.
Iris was a member of the First United Methodist Church as well as the Creative Memories Quilt Guild.
Iris is survived by her son; Mike James McHenry of Caldwell, daughter; Melanie Praesel of Caldwell, brother and sister-in-law; Silver & Betty Crim of San Antonio, and grandson; Cody Douglass Praesel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Douglas Franklin McHenry, a brother; Jimmy Crim, and a sister; Polly Patterson Crim.
