WASHINGTON — Genevieve Margaret Fields, 92, of Washington, died at 6:14 a.m. Saturday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born May 6, 1918, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of William Henry and Ada Belle (Leonard) Wilson. She attended Washington schools and was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Gilbert A. Fields, whom she married Jan. 11, 1940, died May 7, 1973. Two sisters, Bertha Medenwald and Velma Armes, and three brothers, Alvin, Harold and Paul Wilson, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gill Chapel, with Bro. Byron Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
