Eliza Foote

MORGAN-Mrs. Eliza Jane Foote, 93, Morgan, died Wednesday at her home.
Mrs. Foote was born Oct. 18, 1866, in Echo, Utah, a daughter of Roswell and Mary Ann Peterson Stevens. She moved to Park City, Utah, when a girl. On Aug. 10, 1889, she was married to James Patterson Foote in Park City, Utah. They moved to Morgan soon after their marriage. Mr. Foote died Nov. 11, 1899, in Morgan.
She was a member of the LDS South Morgan Ward and a Relief Society teacher.
Surviving are a son, James R. Foote, Pocatello, Idaho; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Mecham, Carey Idaho; Mrs. Charles L. (Margaret) Checketts, Morgan; 18 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Morgan Stake House by Bishop Keith Little of the South Morgan Ward. Friends may call at the family home Friday after 5 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Interment in North Morgan Cemetery, directed by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary.
