A Loda man was fatally injured in a two car head on collision Saturday on Rt. 45 a mile south of Loda. The victim, Raymond Deck, 35 of Loda died Saturday in the Paxton Community Hospital.
Mr. Deck was born Nov. 16, 1923 in Rossville, a son of Henry and Fee McBride Deck. He served in the Navy and was discharged in 1946. He married Audry Adkins March 2, 1943.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Gary, Randall, Monty, Kevin and three daughters Lana, Marsha and Sheeley; two brothers Henry and Noah and four sisters, Mrs. Betty Adkins, Mrs. Beverly Egnew, Mrs. Luella Foxworthy and Mrs. Donna Adkins.
