Chester Travis, 63, of McLeansboro and formerly of Clay City, died Saturday night at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; his mother, Mrs. Ida Travis of Clay City; two sons, George of Margate, Fla., and John of McLeansboro; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Woodrow of McLeansboro; a brother, Leon of Clay City; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Evans and Mrs. Esta Levitt, both of Clay City, Mrs. Daisy Bayler of McLeansboro, Mrs. Grace Mier of Manson, Iowa, and Mrs. Dorothy Bayler of Fairfield, and six grandchildren.
Services will be at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with burial in the Clay County Cemetery at Clay City.
