DUBLIN-Paul L. Hedden, 76, of Dublin died Tuesday night at Mayfair Village Nursing Home in Columbus.
Born in Seneca County, he was the son of Edward and Maude (Humbert) Hedden.
Mr. Hedden retired in 1989 from Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde, where he worked in the maintenance department, after 35 years of service.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and life member of the VFW in Clyde, American Legion in Bettsville and the DAV in Tiffin.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia M. (Johnson) Hedden of Dublin; sons, David Hedden of Westerville and Phil Hedden of Dublin; daughters, Linda Stirgwolt of Port Clinton and Paula Chaney of Dublin; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Hedden of Tiffin; and sisters, Helen Yoder of Fostoria and Pauline Pasch of Fremont.
He was preceded by his parents, brothers, Harold and Fred Hedden, and sisters, Leah Niemota and Susan Gee.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Ohio, where the joint service group of Fostoria will conduct military honors.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
