In May,1954 Rev. Ware celebrated his 61st year in the ministry. All of the 61 years he has served in Oregon and Washington, most of the time in Oregon.
He served with the United Brethern Church for a number of years as paster of Oregon City, Philomath, and Albin, Washington churches.
When he entered the First Baptist Church he was a missionary for Clackamas County. He had served at Logan, Barton, Carver, Mulino, Upper and Lower Highland, Evergreen, Beavercreek and other places where he was called. He also was paster at Helix and Hermiston, Gresham and Pleasant Home, Oregon.
He was born in Carus, June 8, 1871 and was the son of Sarah Myers and J. M. Ware. He is the last of the family. His wife and one son passed away a number of years ago.
He is survived by one daughter; Mrs Marie Morley; a son, Joseph; a grandaughter, Mrs. James D. Bradley; a great granddaughter, Lisa Marie Bradley, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Oregon City. The body will lie in state Friday at Holman, Hankins and Rilance. Internment at the Mountain View Cemetery will follow the services.

A.J. and Belle Ware were married on July 25, 1892 in Oregon City. Divorced early 1911 in Oregon and remarried on July 31, 1911 at Albion, Whitman Co., Washingtion.
