Mrs. Richter died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 4, 1999, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 9, 1911, in Monticello, she was the daughter of Donald and Merl Hoover Wickersham. On Dec. 15, 1934, she was married to Amiel Sailors, who died Aug. 6, 1957. On Nov. 25, 1968, in Logansport, she was married to Bryon Richter, who died June 18, 1978.
A homemaker, Mrs. Richter was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church.
She also was a member of Fidelity Chapter 58 Order of Eastern Star and the Clinton Township Extension Homemakers Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Elaine Bittinger and her husband, Marvin, Carmel; one brother, Dale Wickersham and his wife, Betty, Logansport; two grandsons, Lowell Bittinger, and his wife, Karen, Fishers, and Chris Bittinger and his wife, Tricia, Bloomington; and two nephews, Tom Wickersham and Jim Wickersham, both of Logansport.
One son, George Sailors, preceded in death.
The Rev. James Beaumont will officiate at the services. Burial will in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour before the services Wednesday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ninth Street Christian Church.
