OBITUARY:
Mrs. Merl Wickersham, 83, of 1917 High St., died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital.
Born in Carrol County, August 18, 1891, she was the daughter of C. V. and Lula Johns Hoover. She was married May 7, 1911, to Donald Wickersham.
She was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church and the C.W.F. of the church.
Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Helen Richter, 881 S. Cicott St.; two sons, Dale, 1130 Sunset Dr.; and Charles, Benson, Ariz.; a half-brother, E. L. Hoover, Santa Monica, Calif.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. One grandson proceeded her in death.
...Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.
