Stratford-- Services for Mrs. Jennie J. Gliniecki, 96, a Stratford resident, who died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday at Marshfield Living Center, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford.

The Rev. Joseph A. Grassl will officiate. Miss Florence Kaiser will be the organist for St. Joseph's Church Choir with Lawrence Steines directing. Burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, town of McMillan, Marathon County. Grandsons will serve as pall-bearers.

Visitation will be at Sauter/Kumdinger Funeral Home at 4 pm. today and until service time Saturday. A St. Joseph's Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 4 p.m. today followed by a parish prayer service at 8 tonight, both at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 10, 1893, in Amherst Junction, to the late Anthony and Mary Gostomski. She attended Fancher Parochial School, Fancher.

She was married to Cecil Gliniecki, Jan. 13, 1919 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fancher. He died July 6, 1959.

She and her husband farmed in the town of Eau Pleine until 1950. They then moved to Marshfield where her husband was employed by Roddis Plywood Corp, now Weyerhauser Co. After the death of her husband, she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Geraldine) Dick, Mosinee, and later with her son, Ruben Gliniecki, Stratford. She later moved to the village of Stratford. She had been a resident of the Living Center since Oct. 2, 1985.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

She is also survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Ben (Evelyn) Zaleski of Stratford, Mrs. Norbert (Caroline) Anderson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Rueben (Lenore) Fisher of Cedarburg; one other son, Charles Gliniecki Sr. of Stratford; one sister, Mrs. Susan Ludke of Milwaukee; 38 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by one daughter, Theresa, who died Aug. 31, 1971, five sisters, three brothers, and four grandchildren.
