Mrs. Hiser passed away Monday, February 25, 2008, at the age of 89.
The daughter of Clyde O. and Sally Etta Oats Wilder was born September 11, 1918. She grew up in Avant and attended Barnsdall Avant rural county school. On January 2, 1939, she married Verdon Eldridge Hiser. The couple lived in the Owasso area for 30 years before moving to Wagoner near Ft. Gibson Lake. The moved to Claremore in 1991 to be near their daughter. Mrs. Hiser enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and attending church.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Linda Faye, parents, brother, Lester Wilder; and sister, Lola Wilder.
Family members surviving are her son, David Wayne Hiser and wife, Peggy of Talala; daughter, Rosie Cook and husband, Wayne of Claremore; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
