THE DAILY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Thur., Aug. 19, 1937, p. 2, col. 3:
(edited)
Notwithstanding advancing years, Brice M. Stultz, 81-year-old lifelong Henry County resident and widely - known respected citizen, works day in and day out on his job with the Marshall Field Companys' operations at Fieldale.
With a new set of teeth, only recently becoming necessary he is at his post every day, except Saturday and Sunday almost since the textile firm started operations at Fieldale around 20 years ago.
Prior to employment at Fieldale, he was Henry countys' overseer of the poor for 25 years.
The Alms House was located near Rangeley.
More than 60 years ago Mr. Stultz was married to Miss Ida Stultz, also of this county.
On next December 10th, the couple will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary.
Domiciled in their modest little home on Field Avenue in the nearby textile community, the couple hold hospitable entertainment with their friends, neighbors and numerous relatives.
Mr. Stultz goes far and near to Masonic and Odd Fellow meetings and his staunch adherence to the Democratic party is proverbial. He formerly served as an election official. Some years ago he suffered a fall while visiting in Martinsville, but eventually recovered from the accompanying injuries to be able to resume his duties.
Mr. and Mrs. Stultz have four children: Mesdames Ben Minter, Clyde Self and Gertrude Cahill, and Brice M. Stultz, Jr.
There are nine grandchildren.
The years sit lightly upon the spirit of the couple and their vegetable and flower gardens are their chief hobbies.

Funeral services for Brice M. Stultz, lifelong resident of this county, were held from the McKee Funeral Home Monday. Very long list of pall bearers were listed, but, curiously, the names of surviving family members were not mentioned.
