Mrs. Samuel Ferguson
Mrs. Betty Fergerson, wife of Samuel Fergerson, died at the family home in the Black Jack community south of Rockdale last Friday and was buried Saturday. Rev. L. E. Strickland, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.
Decedent was born in Louisiana Dec. 27, 1856, and was married to Mr. Fergerson Dec. 9, 1975. She had been a member of the Baptist church for forty years.
About six weeks ago Mrs. Fergerson suffered a broken hip when she fell at her home, and this accident was the cause of her death.
