Secondly, he married Emma Elizabeth Harrel of Tennessee. They were married 13 Aug 1893 in White County, Arkansas and had three children; Gradie born 1894, and twins Pearlie and Earl L born in 1896. Emma died in 1900.
Thirdly, he married Alice Eldora Quattlebaum of Gravel Hill, Arkansas, on 29 Dec 1901 in White County. They had ten children between 1902 and 1919; Everett, Vida Arvilla, Arvil Franklin, Emmitt, Beral, Benny, Maudie Adeline, Golden L, Carvil A and Dennis Calvin. Alice died in 1934 in Arkansas.
