Born 5 Apr. 1913 in Clay Co., Ky., she was the daughter of James A.G. & Sophie (Allen) Bishop. Jessie was a loving & devoted wife, mother & grandmother who enjoyed reading, sewing & cooking. She was a longtime member of the Hopkinsville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents, sons - Alex & Charlie Clay Ledford & husbands - Roy Ledford & Harlan Frost; she is survived by her sons - James Ledford of Arizona, Bill Ledford of Morrow, Ohio, Wendell Ledford of Indiana & Jerry Ledford of Clay Co., Ky.; daughters - Joan (Eugene) Callahan of Maineville, Ohio & Sophie (Calvin) Davidson of Clay Co., Ky.; sister - Julie (Elbert) Hudson of Richmond, Ky; nineteen grandchildren & a host of great & great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, 23 Dec. 2008 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Pastor Mike Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon, Ohio.
