A native of Woodville, Miss., she was a retired housewife and a member of Church of Christ of Winnsboro. She was born January 10, 1898.
Survivors include her husband, Carlie Howard, Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Allen of Winnsboro; two sons, Delsie Howard, Winnsboro and Lovelle Howard, Newton, Texas; one sister, Myrtle Fortenberry, Winnsboro; one brother, Prince Ashley, Winnsboro; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchlidren.
Pallbearers were Charles Howard, Eugene Howard, John Wayne Howard, Charles A. Daughdrill, Tommy E. Netherland and Aubrey Cook.
