In 1913 the City of Calistoga passed an ordinance prohibiting housing of non-cremated remains above ground. Records of the St Helena Cemetery Association indicate that in June, 1913, and Sept of 1919, the remains of ten individuals were removed from the Vault and re-interred in the St Helena Cemetery.
