Mrs. Opal B. Taylor

Mrs. Opal B. Taylor, 64, Reeds Route 1, died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, where she had been
a patient one day.

Born Nov, 11, 1913, in Jasper County, she was a resident of the area her lifetime. She was a daughter of Mrs.
Mary Hodge and the late Jesse E. Hodge. She was married to Roy F. Taylor on April 21, 1934, at Buffalo, Mo.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five daughters, Mrs. Alberta Manka, Jasper, Miss Pauline Taylor,
Webb City, Mrs. Nava Jean Hill, Tulsa, Okla., Miss Olive Taylor, Carthage Route 1, and Mrs Fredrica Agan,
Purcell; her mother, 709 Clinton St., a son George Taylor, 1014 Sophia St.; two brothers Virgil Hodge, Reeds
Route 1, Harold Hodge, Olatha, Kan.,; six sisters, Mrs.
William Ward, 513 Oak St., Mrs. Hazel Griffith, Sarcoxie, Mrs. Faye Neil Forrest and Mrs. Maxine Dunkle, both
Juneau, Alaska, Mrs. Lavon Jacobsen Lincoln, Neb. Mrs. Pearl Helton 913 Valley St. and 14 grandchildren.

A son Roy Taylor Jr. died April 22, 1961.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Knell Mortuary. The Rev. Bill Vandergraft, minister of
Church of God, will officiate.

Burial will be in Jasper Cemetery under direction of the Knell Mortuary.
