HEART ATTACK TAKES LIFE OF THOMAS ROWBERRY
Thomas Rowberry, 72, prominent Utah and Idaho stock rancher died suddenly at his home in Idaho Falls Sunday morning following a heart attack.
Mr. Rowberry was born in Erda, Utah on July 17, 1872. He moved to Twin Falls where he lived for a number of years before coming to Idaho Falls over ten years ago.
For more than fifty years he was actively engaged in farming and the sheep business in Utah and Idaho, also homesteading land in the area of Gray, Idaho. He was a parner of Peter Clegg in the sheep industry at Tooele, Utah and an active member of the Woolgrowers Association.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Annie Simpson Rowberry, and the following sons and daughters; Pharis Rowberry, Battle Mountain, Nevada;Wilbur Rowberry of Payette, Idaho; Mrs. Rowland Russell of Tooele, Utah; Mrs. Ervin Hansen of Pasco, Washington, and Mrs. Joe Call of Idaho Falls.
The following brothers and sisters also survive; Joseph Rowberry of Tooele, Elizabeth Howells of Rexburg, Mrs. Mary Burke of Anaconda, Mont.; Mrs. Stella Gerrard of Tooele; Mrs. Hattie Erickson of Logan, Utah; H.E. Rowberry, A.L. Rowberry and W.H. Rowberry all of Idaho Falls.
Two former wives, Mrs. Hilda Nelson Rowberry of Tooele and Mrs. Bertha Sibbett Rowberry of Gray preceded him in death.
The body is at the Wood Funeral Home. Funeral announcements will be made later.
