DEATH CLAIMS FORMER BLOUNT COUNTY RESIDENT
Albert Henry Reneau, 81, passed away at his home in Dodson, Texas, the seventh of November, after a long illness. Mr. Reneau was born and reared in Blount County, and made his home in the Appalachian community on Straight Mountain. His parents were John Reneau and Celia Murphree, both members of early well known Blount County families. He moved to Texas in 1924. His wife, who survives him, was Miss Rosa Ellis of this county. Other survivals are: six sons, Elbin and John, Rt. 4, Oneonta; Truman, California; Adrian of Phillips, Texas; Willard of Dodson, Texas, and Mc-Loy, Wichita, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Frazier, Dodson; Mrs. Lola Harvey, California; Mrs. Delcia Washburn, Birmingham; Mrs. Ila Orr and Mrs. Rosedell Lewis, Hollis, Okla.; one brother, A. R. Reneau, Oneonta, and one sister Mrs. Delia Bellew, Rt. 4, Oneonta. Funeral services and burial were in Dodson.
