Rosedell Lewis, 95, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Colonial Manor II Nursing Home in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Rosedell was born October 31, 1917 in Oneonta, AL and grew up in the Dodson Community, the youngest of twelve children of Albert and Rosa Reneau. The Reneau family moved to Dodson in 1924.
Rosedell married Glen Henry Lewis in 1936 in Hollis and they farmed in the Ron and Dodson Communities until Glen's death in 1961.
She is survived by her son, Garth Lewis of Frisco, TX and her daughter, Judith Ann Lewis of Hollis, OK.
Her son Reggie Lewis preceded her in death in 1999.
Rosedell is survived by nine grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
For many years Rosedell was well known in Hollis as an employee of Searcey's Drug and Renate's Gift Shop. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis and the Adult 8 Sunday School Class.
