1973, October 6th, Saturday: Joplin Globe Obituary-MARTHA BESHEARS; Anderson, MO.--Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Beshears, 95, Anderson, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday at an Anderson nursing home where she had resided one month. Mrs. Beshears was born Feb. 18, 1878, in McDonald County and was a lifetime resident of the area. Surviving are six sons, Elmer Beshears, Dave Beshears, Harvey Beshears and Johnny Beshears, all of Anderson, Jim Beshears, Stark City, and Ed Beshears, North Highland, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Goldie James, Neosho, Mrs. Laura Clutter and Mrs. Leota Adams, both of Anderson, and Mrs. Mary Watkins, Cotati, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be announced by Ozark Funeral.
