Rae was born July 8, 1920 in New Germantown, to the late William A. and Pauline E. Gring Mumper. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, Doylesburg.
Rae was preceded in death by her husband, Joeseph R. Carlin on January 22, 1995. Surviving are four sons, Patrick J. Carlin, New Germantown, Michael J. Carlin, Landenburg, Timothy P. Carlin, Chester, and Terence M. Carlin, Loysville; four daughters, Eugenia P. Leskie, Turnersville, NJ, Rae M. Zerby, Blain, Eileen C. Smith, New Germantown, and Rita C. Rohm, Absecon, NJ; a brother, Ronald K. Mumper, New Germantown, a sister, Wanda Reisinger, Millerstown, 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in St. Bernard Catholic Church, 811 Shermans Valley Road, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. John R. Campion and Rev. Robert F. Sharman officiating.
Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday in the church. Burial will follow the service in the Blain Cemetery.
