Mrs. Eva F. Ashley, 90, of Clendenin, died Friday, April 28, 1991, at Vallie's Personal Care Home after a long illness.
She was a native of Clio, Roane County. She was a member of the Clendenin Advocate Christian Church and VFW Post 8516 auxiliary.
Surviving: sons, William Burl of Clendenin, Harry L. of Akron, Ohio, B. Ray of Buffalo, Ernest E. of Goldsburg, S.C.; daughters, Viola E. Nichols of Pilot Mountain, N.C., Wilma Virginia Young of Clendenin, Clara Bea Drake of Wellington, Ohio; Caroline June Zornes of Tucson, Ariz., Mary Jane Graham of Elkview, Patricia A. Pettit of Seaside, Calif.; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Nahum Balser officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery, Clendenin.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
