Rona is my treasured neice. She was my very first neice and I spent a considerable amount of time with her. She had one daughter and we also spent a lot of time with her daughter. Rona was pursuing a good life for her daughter and herself. We went on a few trips together and she was one to get things done. I was 13 when Rona was born and I liked nothing better then taking care of her.

On March 23, 1992, Rona was in a car accident. She was in intensive care in the hospital for the next few weeks. She was given a paralytic drug to keep her very quiet. The weeks were filled with hope and despair. On May 3, Rona passed away. Every day, we remember Rona and miss her terribly.

Rona was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Raymond (Buddy) Harjo and Darlene (Wiese) Harjo of Cromwell, Oklahoma. She attended El Reno Public Schools and Canadian Valley Vo-Tech.

Rona was employeed at Park View Hospital as an insurance clerk. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Chuch.

She was preceeded in death by her father Raymond Harjo and her grandfather Ben Harjo.

Survivors include her husband Ignacio Silva of Oklahoma City, her daughter Reva Marie Silva of the home, her moher Darlene Harjo Quiroz of El Reno, her sister Gina Harjo and her children Kaeci and Kylie. Her brothers, Cincinnati Harjo and Alex Quiroz of El Reno. Her grandparents Otto Wiese and Anna Wiese of El Reno and Edith Harjo of Cromwell. Her aunts and uncles, Howard and Susan Dickens of Midwest City, Mary Wiese of El Reno, Ben Harjo of Dallas, Texas, Tom and Mose Harjo of Tulsa, Nolan and Lenora Robertson of Coweta, Loretta Price of Dallas, Lewis and Joy Miller of Wewoka, Kay Murray of Wewoka and many cousins.

Rona became a grandmother on 8/12/09. Her daughter, Reva, had a little boy and named him Riley. That is the name of the street where she and her Moma lived.

Damion Harjo is Rona's nephew.
