Mrs. Bessie Taylor, Mount Erie Resident, Dies, Rites Tuesday

Bessie E. Taylor, 889, of Mt. Erie died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 1987 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney from infirmities of age.

She was the mother of Nola Massie and . . . , both of Mt. Erie.

Services Tuesday

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with Bro. Bob Beckman officiating. Burial will follow in Travers Cemetery east of Mt. Erie.

Visitation will be conducted Monday (today) from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taylor was born July 4, 1897 in Johnsonville, the daughter of John and Martha (Weaver) Williamson. She was married to Herbert Taylor on April 16, 1915 in Wayne County. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1979.

She was a housewife and followed the Pentecostal faith.

The Survivors

Among survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Nola) Massie of Mt. Erie; two sons. . . ; one sister, Irene Jones of Centralia; and one brother, Bob Williamson of Evansville, IN; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandchild.
